چکیده
Cement production worldwide contributes at least a 9% increase in CO2 emissions. Industrial or agricultural waste can cause serious problems for the environment. One of wastes that be used as SCM from is sugar cane. This research was conducted to determine content chemical elements contained bagasse ash which suspected have similarities with cement. study uses an experimental method, type pre-experiment has one shot case scheme. The results indicated final combustion temperature 600C had highest silicon compared firing 500C and 700C. analysis indicate relatively high percentage silicon, additive cement substitute.

Ash Melting Temperature Prediction from Chemical Composition of Biomass Ash
Solid fuels, including biomass, consist of combustible, ash and water. Ash in fuel is result of reaction of minerals presented in the biomass. Minerals and other different substances which form ash got into biomass during growth. Ash is solid residue resulted from the perfect laboratory combustion of fuel. It is composed of minerals that are present in the fuel. Some species of biomass ash have...
متن کاملEffect of Sugarcane Bagasse Ash on Strength Properties of Concrete
The present study focuses on the utilization of Sugarcane Bagasse Ash as replacement material for cement in concrete production. Sugarcane Bagasse ash contains high amorphous silica content and aluminium ion. For experimental investigations, Sugarcane bagasse ash and its chemical properties are obtained from KCP sugar factory, Andhra Pradesh. Ordinary Portland cement was partly replaced by suga...
متن کاملChemical composition of indoor ash residues
The ash content formed after burning of materials in indoor may be harmful to environment on dumping due to high ionic and metallic concentration. Therefore, the chemical composition of various indoor ash residues derived from burning of the biomass (BM), coal (C), cow dung (CD), incense (IS) and mosquito coil (MC) materials is described in this study. Three samples each of BM, coal, CD, IS and...
متن کاملEngineering Behavior and Characteristics of Wood Ash and Sugarcane Bagasse Ash
Biomasses are organic materials that are derived from any living or recently-living structure. Plenty of biomasses are produced nationwide. Biomasses are mostly combusted and usually discarded or disposed of without treatment as biomass ashes, which include wood and sugarcane bagasse ashes. Thus, recycling or treatment of biomass ashes leads to utilizing the natural materials as an economical a...
